I spent eight years
making people want things.
Now I design things people need.
Advertising in Bangkok, branding and content in Melbourne, and now experience design at Swinburne.
Different crafts, same obsession: how people think, feel, and decide.

My design career started in Bangkok, making ads for global brands like McDonald's, Wall's, and Meiji. That world taught me to dig underneath a brief for what people actually think, feel, and do. Two Silver Cannes Lions later, the lesson that stuck wasn't about visuals. It was learning to make an idea so simple that anyone could get it in three seconds.
In Melbourne, I moved from global names to local ones, becoming a one-person studio for hospitality brands: strategy, video, photography, design, social media, from first idea to final export. It gave me a feeling advertising never did. Watching a queue form outside a restaurant because of a video I shot the week before. My online work, pulling real people through a real door.
For most of my career, my work was measured in attention and sales, and I was good at it. But during my Master of Design at Swinburne, the question I ask changed. Instead of how do I make people want this, it became how do I help people do this, a little more easily. That's where I want my craft to count.
I see this less as a change and more as the next step in my path, built on everything I've learned along the way. The insight and clarity from advertising, the craft and follow-through from brand work, they all stack into how I design now. UX is where it points in one direction: building products and services that help people live better.
